Tamarind pulp is made from the citrussy flesh of the tamarind pod. It’s sticky, date-like with a tart and fruity taste. Unlike tamarind paste or concentrate, it's made solely from 100% shelled tamarind pods. Soak in lukewarm water for 15-20 minutes before use.
